About The Project

This project is aimed at acquiring natural history information on three species of Hylidae inhabiting streams at the RPPN Santuário do Caraça, southeastern Brazil: Bokermannohyla nanuzae, B. martinsi and Scinax machadoi. We are studying the breeding behavior of the two species of Bokermannohyla and the escape behavior of tadpoles of the three species when exposed to aversive stimuli.
